Our Team

Steve Grant


President, Founder

Steve brings more than 20 years of information technology consulting and software development experience to the Objective Arts’ team. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, Steve oversees technology teams on Object-Oriented design, software project management and software development methods. He also provides strategy and management consulting to clients who are implementing critical technology initiatives.

Prior to founding Objective Arts, Steve managed large-scale development initiatives for both Viant Corporation and CloserLook, Inc. Early in his career he worked on financial systems for the City of Chicago and research computing for the University of Chicago. He has an extensive background in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, and Enterprise Technology Strategy.

Steve holds an MBA in Finance and Statistics and an M.A. in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude, from Tufts University.

Davide Bonicelli


Principal and Director, Product Development

Davide leads OA’s efforts in developing our product lines. He is responsible for engineering direction and development as well as overall product decision making. Davide has extensive experience in software engineering in multiple industries. He has deep knowledge of the Amazon AWS platform, having worked extensively with most AWS services across multiple configurations and production scenarios. Davide is an AWS Certified Solution Architect. In addition he has developed solutions across multiple cloud-based SaaS platforms.

Davide received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, Italy and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was also research assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Matt Fleming


Director, Software Engineering

Matt brings extensive experience across the web development spectrum. Matt is specifically requested by companies who know his reputation for high level delivery no matter how difficult the assignment. He has led multiple technology efforts for companies as diverse as the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association to J.C. Whitney to TransUnion to Kraft Foods. Matt is a key designer of many aspects of OA’s product efforts in the rule engine, mobile and security arenas. Matt has a B.S. in Human Communication Sciences from Northwestern University.

Matt Deceunynck


 Senior Software Engineer

Matt has over twenty years of application development experience on a variety of platforms including mainframe, Windows and client/servers specializing in high-quality Java applications and database design. He has worked in financial and data migration industries developing online and web products as well as Windows applications.

Matt has a B.A. in Mathematics from Grinnell College and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois.

Eric Medley


Senior Software Engineer

Eric is a 20 year veteran of the software industry. He enjoys being hands-on with development and generally “getting things done” but also providing input into and helping drive the strategic direction of the business. In particular, he enjoys solving problems that lead to high-throughput, low latency systems. His industry knowledge spans financial services and healthcare.

Noah Potter


Director, Strategy

Noah is a veteran entrepreneur in industries ranging across politics, real estate, film and video games. Noah’s products have been recognized with nominations for Toy of the Year along side a finalist award from the American Business Association for best accounting product.

Noah received his Bachelors in Music from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Faiz Mohamed


Software Engineer

Faiz is an experienced Technical Architect/Developer possessing expertise in the design, development and implementation of enterprise applications. Have over twenty years of experience in architecting and developing applications involving all phases of SDLC. Very highly motivated and an excellent team player. Proven managerial and communication skills with ability to interact with both technical and business personnel. Have over eighteen years of Java Programming experience using the latest J2EE technologies including JSPs, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, EJBs and XML. Have worked with various middleware technologies including Adobe LiveCycle, IBM WebSphere MQ, and Vitria BusinessWare.

Luca Graglia


Programmer

Luca is a C and Java programmer, with experience across multiple industries. He worked with self-driven drones, parallel computing algorithms, cloud platform systems, embedded systems and hardware design projects.

Luca received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, Italy and a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Mitch Medow


Principal Medical Consultant

Mitch Medow is a practicing Internist at Brigham and Women’s Primary Care Associates. Dr. Medow has created clinical-practice guidelines in academic medical centers and implemented them in primary care clinics. Using statistical and machine learning techniques, he has developed and validated predictive tools for clinical and administrative use. As part of a medical interactive voice response system, he has written patient dialogues, a natural language processing component, and clinical care modules. He has presented the underlying concepts and systems of his work in articles, classrooms and conferences. Finally, he has supervised medical students and residents in the classroom, clinic and on projects. He has a B.S. Cellular and Molecular Biology and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering (cum laude) from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in Biophysical Sciences from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences and an M.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Juliet Barretto


Office Director

Juliet Barretto runs all of OA’s administrative functions and is a key interface in our client service operations. She plays a primary role in defining assessment protocols in our Builder process and participates in QA activities as well.

Greg Orlowski


Member, Advisory Board

Formerly Director of Technology at Objective Arts, Greg founded and is now the CTO of European “Unicorn” startup Deliveroo. Greg advises Objective Arts on matters from software architecture to business strategy.

Vijay Menon


Member, Advisory Board

An experienced Java Architect, Vijay has broad experience designing applications in C++, Python, Ruby and Perl as well. He has worked on content management and delivery systems for websites, distributed, fault tolerant, high performance systems for electronic trading and various backends at Google.

Andy Bokor


Member, Advisory Board

Andy Bokor is a proven serial entrepreneur with experience launching, funding, operating and growing highly successful technology businesses that have led to successful acquisitions.  Over the past 17 years, Andrew joined a start-up in its’ formative years and subsequently co-founded two companies. The first start-up he co-founded grew from 9 people to $60M in revenue in 18 months. That company was completely self-funded and sold to VeriSign in 2001. Andrew’s second start-up grew to 1,200 employees in 26 countries with revenue exceeding $200 million. While at his second start-up, his company acquired numerous technology and services organizations and created innovative SaaS solutions.

Lindsey Leininger


Member, Advisory Board

Dr. Lindsey Leininger leads population health analytics engagements for public payers. Her work spans descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses, with a particular focus on classification algorithms for risk stratification. She previously worked in academic settings, holding research and faculty positions at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois-Chicago, respectively. During this time she spent seven years as a core investigator evaluating eligibility and delivery system reforms within the Wisconsin Medicaid program, work initiated during her tenure as a Robert Wood Johnson Health and Society Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Leininger has written widely on vulnerable populations’ access to and utilization of health care, and has particular expertise in the health care experiences of populations with complex care needs. She holds a Ph.D. in public policy studies from the University of Chicago.
