SMR Software as a Service

OA SMR is a Software as a Service (SaaS) application that can be instantly deployed and quickly customized. We have built SMR so that we know it will run. The key is to minimize how long it takes to get to that successful implementation and how long it takes until the customer realizes economic return. These are the critical metrics we focus on.

Some critical characteristics of SMR are:

  • Easily Distributable-SMR can be spread to an entire distributed organization with different data and functional visibilities quickly. The system is administered through an intuitive interface that allows the customer to map users to visibilities in an intuitive yet flexible way. Challenges that may have required custom development in the past can now be configured by a non programmer in a few hours.
  • Geared to Efficient Measurement and Data Analysis-SMR focuses on system outputs not inputs. We try to put the customer in the position to input the minimum data possible yet achieve the maximum outputs. Therefore we focus on reporting, custom algorithm development, rule engine processing, and data warehousing.
  • Multi Problem/Campaign Focused-One SMR installation can be used for many different problem solving, quality improvement, or cost control initiatives across an organization. SMR is fundamentally a horizontal system. Although there are many applications for SMR in the health care domain there is no particular industry focus of the software itself. Anywhere an organization can see a problem that can be solved through tactical data collection, measurement and intervention, SMR can help to amplify the effectiveness of those efforts.
  • Modern-SMR uses the latest technology from the Google Web Toolkit to the Amazon Cloud. The system looks and feels rich and responsive thus enabling a positive user experience and a system that trains very efficiently.
  • MultiPlatform:IPad, IPhone, Android or PC-SMR can be delivered through the most appropriate channel for the use case at hand. IPad, PC or phone delivery models are all supported through one toolkit that provides for a consistent look and feel that is still appropriate to each form factor.
  • Speed of Implementation-SMR was built for speed. Initial implementation can be complete in a matter of minutes and customization and configuration in a few weeks. Mapping an entire user base to a data visibility scheme will always take some time. However, we are constantly looking at wys to make this process more seamless and even faster. Our focus is for the user to have the system in position to support its economic goals, not to be engaged in a year long implementation exercise.
  • Extensible-SMR is designed as a base system with add on modules. A customer can choose prebuilt modules or engage OA to build additional add on modules that are both cost efficient and quick to implement. We believe that this model is far superior to the traditional custom development model as the underlying infrastructure is always reused as new functionality is added.
